My issues are regarding management more so than facilities. About a month ago, we accessed recreation.gov to make a reservation, but the website showed no availability. We called to find out if it was open and we were told the campground was first come, first served (or walk up) and no reservations would be taken for the rest of 2017.
It's camping! Only thing that could be fixed is making the bathrooms a little less like a sauna in the summer, just some fans would be nice!
Today we arrived in the campground, chose a vacant site (none were taken), set up in the rain, then went to pay. The host then told us we'd have to move because the site was reserved. When we mentioned that it couldn't be reserved, according to rec.gov, we were told that was a mistake. When we asked why there wasn't a reserved sign in the site we were told they hadn't put any out because it was raining. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Wonderfully kept. So clean. A great playground and even had showers.
